Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital was opened December 2004 by Dr. Michelle Wilbanks. We are located on FM 242 (College Park Drive) just minutes west of Interstate I-45 & across from Lone Star Community College. We are a full service veterinary hospital providing medical and surgical services for dogs and cats of all life stages. The professional and courteous staff of Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital are dedicated animal care and client service specialists. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients.     Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital has two exam rooms and a consultation room. Each room has been designed with the comfort of our clients and patients in mind.

    Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital is equipped with a heated surgical table and advanced equipment to monitor your pet's oxygen saturation, blood pressure and cardiac electrical activity during routine and emergency surgeries. Prior to undergoing general anesthesia for any reason, your pet will receive a complete physical examination, intravenous catheter and fluids, and pain medications needed to keep your pet comfortable for their procedure.

    Should your pet require a hospitalized stay with us the doctors and staff will do everything possible to make your pet comfortable. Although staying in a hospital is never any fun, we will try to make it as pleasant as an experience as possible.

  • Canine Boarding

    Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital offers boarding to our patients requiring the care of veterinary staff during their stay. We have six large suites and four small suites to accomodate our guests during their stay. Each pet is provided an elevated bed with thick pillow top bed to sleep in. We walk/exercise all of our guests six times daily while they are with us. Each boarding dog will also be given a Capstar prior to their release to prevent your family member from brining home any unwanted "guests" he/she might have picked up in our walking yard during their stay.

    Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital offers a suite for our feline boarding guests separated from the dogs. We offer six multi-leve condos each with a view of the yard adjacent to the clinic where bird watching is a favorite past time of our guests. We offer exercise time during your cats stay where your cat can play on a large cat tree and throughout the entire room.
